Spritz Cookies (cookie press)

1 cup softened butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla 2-1/2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder sprinkles OR cherries OR nuts OR colored sugar ETC Sift flour with baking powder.  Set aside. Cream butter, sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Add flour in small amounts. Mold with cookie press on cold ungreased cookie sheet. Add decorations. Bake at 375 from 12 to 15 minutes.
