On this tower at the top of the Toro Negro Forest Reserve
we could see the Caribbean Ocean on one side and the
Atlantic Ocean on the other side.  But when we were
there it was cloudy, and we couldn't see anything.

After Denise Quinones (Miss Puerto Rico) won the
Miss Universe Contest Friday night  (May 11) and
Tito won the boxing match Saturday night (May 12)
the Governor of Puerto Rico made Monday, May 14th
a Holiday.
(But since Amy and her friends teach in a private school
and not a public school, they had to go to work anyway.)
 

Sometime in May Joanie and Amy went to a parade in a neighboring city:
