July 1, 2001:
Amy and Carrie left on their "Driving Out West" trip.
They will be visiting friends and relatives
along the way:
Illinois; Wisconsin; Minnesota; South Dakota;
Washington; California; Neveda; Colorado; Iowa;
and back to (Chicago) Illinois, and then Michigan.

July26, 2001:
Amy's back!
August 1st she flies back to Puerto Rico for her
second year of teaching in Guayama.
