I am sorry to report that Andrew got dropped today and broke a leg however a little Gorilla Glue put him back together again. After the injury I took him to Langley Lake for a photo op. The lake is still frozen but there is water now along the edge. Andrew seemed to enjoy the outing.

GeoPig and the TBs spent the 21st at sea. It was a full day of swimming, spa treatments, and fun activities. The 22nd was spent touring Tianjin. The TBs saw the Shi Family mansion, the Cunfucian Temple, and ended the day with souvenir shopping at the Tanggu Yanghuo Market. The 23rd & 24th were spent at sea with more fun activities. The ship arrived in Shanghai on the 25th just in time to celebrate geopig #2's birthday. They toured the Bund then went to the 88th floor of the Park Hyatt to admire the view. It's the 2nd tallest building in the world. Afterwards the TBs checked into their hotel then did some souvenir shopping before dinner. They'll be returning to the USA tomorrow. GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home.

GeoPig and the TBs visited Jeju Island on April 18th. It’s one of the new 7 Wonders of the World. They saw the mysterious road where vehicles appear to be going uphill with the engine turned off, the Yeomiji Botanical Center, Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls, and the Jusangjeolli Cliffs. They did a lot of walking and saw a lot of beautiful scenery on this island. The 19th was a sea day so everyone had time to relax before the big trip to Beijing. The 20th was an all-day trip to Beijing. The day started with clearing Chinese customs. The TBs were extremely nervous they would have to be fingerprinted again like they were when entered China. That was quite an ordeal since some of the TBs don’t even have fingers. The first stop was lunch at a luxurious restaurant followed by souvenir shopping. The next stop was the Juyongguan Section of the Great Wall. The TBs climbed up then back down 374 steep & high steps. The last stop was the Ming Tombs and a quick geocache. Everyone was exhausted when they finally returned to the ship for a late dinner.

"GeoPig and the TBs took a tour of the city. The first stop was the Haedong Buddha Temple. After seeing the beautiful scenery and the amazing statues, they had time for a quick cache. The next stop was a lighthouse and the APEC house. After fighting the crazy traffic to get back to the pier, they bought souvenirs from the local vendors then boarded the ship for lunch. Everyone is going to bed early tonight, because we have early morning excursion that will last most of the day. GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home."

"GeoPig and the TBs took a 2 hour tour of the city today. They saw a lot of interesting sights including Peace Park. Afterwards there was time for souvenir shopping and grabbing a quick cache near the pier. Everyone returned to the ship, had a leisurely lunch, then headed for the top deck to watch the ship leave the port. The TBs are really looking forward to the comedy show before dinner tonight. GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home."

"GeoPig and the TBs had a relaxing sea day on the 13th. GeoPig treated the TBs to several luxurious spa treatments then they spent the rest of the day by the pool. The 14th started out with an excursion to Yehliu Geo-Park. GeoPig tried to get pictures of the TBs with the different rock formations, but the TBs were having too much fun running everywhere. Then it was on to a small fishing village with a live fish market. Although the TBs were fascinated by the live fish for sale, they had more fun on the playground. The last stop was the Lungshan Temple overlooking the harbor. The TBs were fascinated by the large bell. They couldn’t ring it, so geopig #1 rang it for them. By the time they got back to the ship, GeoPig and the TBs were exhausted. They grabbed a quick lunch then took a long nap before dinner in the dining room. GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home."

"GeoPig and the TBs arrived in Hong Kong on Wednesday night after a long flight. Everyone was exhausted, so it was an early night. Thursday morning everyone was ready to go. They checked on to and became acquainted with the ship. Later in the evening they took a tour of the city, saw the Symphony of Lights show at the harbor, and ended the evening with a tram ride to The Peak. Of course, GeoPig had to make a stop at the Hard Rock Café rock shop for souvenirs. On Friday GeoPig and the TBs took a ferry ride to Lantau to see the big Buddha and the monastery. The excursion ended with a gondola ride. Friday night everyone had a delicious dinner in the dining room and sang Happy Birthday to geopig #1. GeoPig will upload pictures when she gets home."

Dear Team Lerman,

How fitting an end to my travels along the Danube. Today we are in Passau, Germany in the foot hills of the Bavarian Alps. I saw this tower and immediately fell in love! Doesn't it look just like my hat?

I enjoyed my travels, but now I must return to the USA.

Had a wonderful time.
Wish you had been here,
Ben"

Dear Team Lerman,

Today I visited Vienna. A beautiful city covered with snow. At this cache, the hint said to "have a seat". My cacher friends opted NOT to sit in the snow, so I did it for them!

Having a wonderful time.
Wish you were here,

Ben"

Dear Team Lerman,

Today I visited the beautiful city of Budapest during there Easter Monday holiday. The custom here it that on the Monday after Easter, men visit the homes of women and spray their hair with perfume to make them smell good. In return, the women give the men painted eggs and schnapps. Here is the Hungarian lady I met on my adventure.

Wish you were here,
Ben"
