Sept 21:
I've been feeding this chipmunk for the past few days. She has two babies that come out of the hole every once in a while and sit up to look at me. By the time we leave here, she should be stocked for the winter. |

 Sept 21: We are in the U.P. of Michigan this week, and today took a hike part way around this lake. The trees are just starting to turn colors now. It's suppose to be cold enough for frost tonight. The nights have been deliciously cool, and the days very pleasant for walking. |
 I think we will take a boat cruise tomorrow or the next day to see the Pictured Rocks lake shore. We also want to take a cruise in a glass bottom boat. They cruise over sunken ships off the coast of Lake Superior. Sounds interesting. |
