2 sticks softened butter
1/2 cup powered sugar  (PLUS more to roll in)
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/4 cups flour
1 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Cream together butter and sugar.
Add vanilla.
Add flour and nuts and shape into balls.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar.
