Frank Wicks Melpolder
Frank Wicks Melpolder, age 99, died at The Forest at Duke on July 24, 2015.
 He will be greatly missed by family and all who knew him. He is survived by his three sons,
 John (Sharon) of Prescott, AZ, Frederick (Donna) of Sanford, NC, and Donald (Patti) of Erie, PA;
 nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Jean Henneberger Melpolder.
Frank was a Research Chemist at ARCO for 43 years, with 7 patents.
He was a member for 50+ years of the American Chemical Society and Kiwanis Club of Media.
 While living in Wallingford, PA he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and,
in Durham, NC, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
 His hobbies included gardening, electronics, and pool maintenance at the Forest at Duke
where he and his wife Jean were TFAD pioneers.
A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at The Ritz at The Forest at Duke, Durham, NC.
 The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
 Interment will be private at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
