BUTTERFINGER COOKIES
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 stick (unsalted) butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup Butterfinger bars, chopped (12.5 oz pkg makes 2 recipes)
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.

Sift together flour and baking soda. Put aside.
Cream butter & sugar together.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Stir in flour mixture.
Stir in candy pieces.
Chill dough for about 1/2 hour. (I don't know why)

Drop by teaspoons full onto greased cookie sheet (or sheet lined with parchment paper.)
(I smashed mine down a little-like I do with chocolate-chip cookies.)
Bake 8-12 minutes or until golden brown. (Mine took 16 minutes)

Makes 2 dozen.
